St. Frances Chapter 13 Clara leapt upon her bead, tears cascading down her nose and into her pillow. She turned on her side and stared out the window. The events of the night flew in front of her eyes so fast they blurred together. She couldn't make sense of any of it, so instead she concentrated on the view of out her window. The sun was setting, pinks and purples and oranges splashed the indigo sky, the fluffy clouds glowed brightly, the beauty of it all helped to settle Clara, helped her to slow down her thoughts and try to make sense of them.

St. Frances chapter 12 Clara watched as Bradley stormed out of the dining room, his face set in a stony anger. He passed Clara without glancing at her, barely missing Trent's head as he stormed towards the door. Clara stared perplexed as he slammed the door, just as James burst out of the laundry room and followed after him. Clara called out
"James!" and ran after the two of them, carefully stepping over Trent and leaving through the door. She ran down the steps, then stopped running when she saw what was happening. Bradley was almost at his car when James blocked his path.
"Who do you think you are?" James asked. Bradley clenched his jaw.
"Get out of my way.
